Current Open Position:

Part-Time Cleaning Technician

Galaxy Cleaning Services is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our cleaning crew servicing commercial facilities.

This is a very part-time position, approximately 6-8 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours in the future as our business grows.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows directions carefully, arrives on time, and understands that consistency and attention to detail are extremely important in a professional cleaning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine janitorial and cleaning services

• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floors

• Clean and sanitize restrooms

• Empty trash and replace liners

• Wipe down and sanitize frequently touched surfaces

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, and common areas

• Spot-clean walls, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces

• Assist with rotating detail-cleaning tasks such as baseboards, vents, cobweb removal, and other areas requiring additional attention

• Follow established cleaning procedures and checklists

• Maintain a consistent level of cleanliness throughout the facility

• Communicate any issues, damage, supply needs, or areas requiring additional attention

• Work respectfully and professionally in a school environment

Schedule:

Approximately 6-8 hours per week. Number of hours may fluctuate slightly.

The current schedule will primarily consist of evening cleaning shifts from 5pm - 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Candidates must be comfortable with the limited number of weekly hours and be able to consistently commit to their assigned schedule.

Additional hours and days may be available as the company continues to grow, but additional hours are not guaranteed.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs

• Lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment

• Perform repetitive cleaning motions

• Work at a steady pace for the duration of the shift
